Got a Woodsrunner and the ramrod that came with it was good. After the first hundred rounds the ramrod began to split at the end. A little early to break, but I use my rifles. They’re not a display item. So I ordered two spares. One was great, straight grained, no flaws, easy to heat and straighten. No complaints. The other had significant runnout and a little “crook” in the middle where some darker grain was. Tried to heat and gently straighten and it easily snapped right where I thought it would. So these rods are a bit hit and miss. As with all natural wood products, they can be unpredictable at times. May just be a fluke, but overall I’d say 2 out of 3 ain’t terrible and I bet it’s much better than that. I just drew the short straw.
