Kibler Gunstock Sealer and Finish
Support the Hershel House Foundation:
Properly prepare stock by sanding with progressive grits or scraping. If using Kibler's Longrifles Iron Nitrate or other water based stain, apply that before using this sealer and finish. Apply first coat of this product liberally over the entire gunstock with a lint-free applicator until the wood stops soaking up the product. Wipe off excess finish and allow to dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours between coats. Sunshine helps it dry. Apply multiple very thin coats (allowing previous coat to completely dry for at least 24 hours) until you have built up enough of a finish.
Kibler's sealer and finish did a good job of bringing out the grain in my stock. The overall finish was excellent.

Good stuff. I stripped the old miniwax from my English walnut stock and refinished it with this. Looks great. Might have to reapply every few years, but thats ok.

Very nice finish but it can’t be rushed. First coat is heavy, keep applying until it stops absorbing. Wipe off excess and let dry. After a couple more light coats that dry completely the surface can be gently smoothed with OOOO steel wool. Followed by as many coats and smoothing as desired. The process will take significant time to complete depending on heat and humidity. Could be a week or perhaps weeks, repeat, the process can’t be rushed.
It made a deep finish that really looks great!

I orders a quick ship Woods Runner. Awesome wood and the packaging was excellent. I also ordered the iron nitrate and oil finish at a later date. Everything arrived quickly. Also, there are a lot of great products on the site at a very fair price.
Following the iron nitrate solution, I used 7 coats of the Kibler's stock sealer and finish. The oil finish is easy to apply and gives the stock a beautiful finish. The sealer finish really brings out the figure in fancy maple stocks. I highly recommend this product.

Liquid Shipping
Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!
Order tracking
You will receive tracking information when your item ships. For kits, you will be contacted before shipment and after shipment so there is no need to worry about a kit box shipping when you are out of town. All other packages will ship when available and you will be emailed a tracking link.
