IN THE WHITE
-
This service is available as an add on to a kit gun order. This is $525 for this service. You will need to contact the office via 330-551-5844 or info@kiblerslongrifles.com
A gun provided "in the white" will be completely assembled and functional. The wood will need sanded and finished. The metal will also benefit from some cleanup. This is typically a little light filing on the rough spots followed by a little polishing with abrasive paper. The metal can be left in this condition or can be blued, browned, aged etc.
Your kit will arrive assembled, ready for you to customize and finish.

Five stars for the fouler. The walnut stock that I chose was very brittle, developing a large crack near the end of the stock (which I glued back into the correct contour). I am exceedingly pleased with Kibler’s staff that supported me throughout this adventure.
Sparky
I have to be honest that I have never built a round barrel smoothbore prior to the Fowler. It was interesting filing a round barrel but lots easier than you might expect. It did take me a little longer than the octagonal barrels but came out perfect. Just finished it last week taking only 4 weeks of spare time effort. We have had so much rain lately I can't catch a good day at the range to shoot any of the black powder guns but plan to this week if all goes well. I have tried the lock to make sure it has good ignition and it's perfect like the other Kibler locks. Thanks Jim and Staff for another fine Kibler gun.
Kibler Fowler Kit +$330 for Lock Billed Separately
This was my first build and it went extremely well.
Very little fitting, but a lot of sanding and filing. First trip to the range with any black powder shotgun, so I had a learning curve to get through. At 20 yards the gun threw a good pattern using 1-1/2 ounces of 7-1/2 shot and 70 grains of Goex. I am very satisfied with the quality of the parts. The only thing I might change is the sealer. I used Kiblers oil finish and the sheen was slightly less than I desired. Awesome gun none the less!
The Fowler Kit was High Quality and High Precision fit…. Very precise and easy assembly….. Would recommend kit for any assembler ….. Great product and the Fowler came out looking Great

Shipping
Liquid Shipping
Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!
Order tracking
You will receive tracking information when your item ships. For kits, you will be contacted before shipment and after shipment so there is no need to worry about a kit box shipping when you are out of town. All other packages will ship when available and you will be emailed a tracking link.
