More difficult than the two SMRs I built (I have also built guns from Sitting fox, track of the wolf andothers) I had problems getting the entry pipe to fit on the Colonial, the lug wouldn't reach the pre drilled hole. I was afraid to remove any more wood and ended up expoxing the.pipe in place. I. Also had problems with the lock bolts lineing up. But it is a very nice looking rifle but a lot heavier then I expected.
