Might be nice to thread the rod 10-32. Then have an 8-32 adapter screwed on. That would keep the bore guide from falling off if the jag was unscrewed. It would also make the rod work with the common ball puller screws that are threaded 10-32. Mine are all 10-32 as bought from Track.

I went out to range , to sight in my new woods runner , after a few shots I got distracted, and forgot to put in a charge , so I had to tryout my ball puller for the first time , needless to say I was very anxious, Bering my first time doing that , but it worked just fine . It would be nice if it could have a T handle ,so I could use my feet to hold the rod while I pull the rifle upward, because holding the rifle with one hand and pulling rod with the other can be a little difficult. Since then I added a sliding weight off of an auto dent puller and it works like a champ .
