I had good luck using this punch, I took the Hawken lock apart for blueing, The punch did the job , before I was using a round punch it didn't fit as well as the new square
punch, I'm glad I got it

I purchased this square brass punch specifically to remove sights on a micro pistol. It worked well, fit in the tight spaces and made the removal easier than with a rounded brass punch.

The tool is of very good quality. I have a round punch that I have been using since I started building last year that would "get the job done" but I knew I would be getting this tool as it would be better suited for a multitude of reason. I like to shoot when I can so tearing down the locks for cleaning is a must....in my mind....and this punch will facilitate much better.

Must have. Using this square punch is the only way to remove the cock without damaging the lock.

I ordered the square brass punch and used it to disassemble my lock to clean and lube the tumbler. This tool is the best purchase to dissamble the lock I have made. I highly recommend!

I had previously machined a square punch out of mild steel to disassemble my lock but was always worried about damaging it in the process. This brass punch is perfect for safe disassembly without the worry of causing damage by using a steel tool.

Square Brass Punch - BACKORDERED

The right tool for removing the hammer. Yes, it’s easy to make one from an old punch, but save yourself the trouble and pick up one of these. Does the job with no damage to the tumbler or cock.

Even a lowly brass punch from Kibler looks nice. Almost hate to use it. Almost!

I got the brass punch I had to take a file to four sides of it for it to fit in good after that three shots and the cock came loose from the tumbler I have never had a problem with anything I purchased
