Just what I needed

Kibler has one of the best customer service I have dealt with. I have had some questions before and during my build and they have responded within a day each time. Some of those questions I’m sure were obvious to them, but they answered patiently and professionally each time. During the build I had problems drilling through one of the lugs and broke a bit and the drill guide. I ordered a new kit which was sent out right away. I moved on to drill out the other lugs then returned to the problem lug and again broke the bit and guide. I reached out to them again asking if I could order just the guide since I didn’t need a new chuck and had extra bits. Next thing I know a new guide showed up in the mail.

I would recommend anyone in the market for a muzzleloader to buy from Kibler. You won’t regret it.

Got one kit with the rifle kit and bought another one, because the small drill #52 would not fit in the drill guide. The second kit was the same. Had to use a #47 bit to use in the drill guide. And use a different drill chuck because the one in the kit would not go down that small.

The unit works great! Now how about an 8-32 sized guide for tang and lock screw. I know we do not need that size for your kits. Sure would be helpful for the doing a scratch build though.

The drill guid works fine. I’ve used it in my gun shop prior. Mine s rather old and beat up. I purchased this one to replace my old one. I purchased a kit with you guys and didn’t know a drill guid came with it. It was nice using a new one on my Kibler build. I’m enjoying the build on my 36 caliber rifle. Thanks for the fantastic products you offer.

The drill guide gives me a simple & fool-proof system to drill the holes for mounting pins through inlet tenons without widening the stock wood drilled holes.

Worked like a charm.

Drill Guide Kit

With the youtube videos which includes Jim's explinations, the Drill Guide Jig Kit made lining up the drill bit holes consistently repeatable. I believe this is a necessary add on for drilling the pinholes.

Drill Guide Kit

The drill guide kit made marking and drilling barrel lugs and ramrod thimbles quite easy. The pre-drilled stock, if not protected drilling, the holes could become too large to securely retain the cross pins. This kit made this aspect less stressful. One should be at ease when working on a rifle. Doing it for fun, any thing such as the Drill Guide Kit, helps keep a person focused and reduces mistakes that might derail the process.

The Drill Guide Kit is an excellent product. I have worked on a few muzzleloader kits, but not enough to consider myself an expert. Getting the holes right for the barrel lugs has always been difficult. The Drill Guide Kit really helps. I would recommend the Drill Guide Kit to others.
