I couldn’t do these 4 long gun builds without a very sharp chisel. Before I received my first gun, I ordered all of the chisels and files that Kibler offered. These are excellent quality tools that are required for the tasks. I have used all of the chisels, but especially like the small skew chisel for fine detail tasks. You will find that there will be places on the stock requiring adjustments where only a small chisel will do. Get one, you’ll be glad you did. 😊

So, in getting ready for my Kibler Southern Mountain Rifle kit to arrive, I went through the tools Kibler has for sale. For the price, I thought, this wouldn't be a bad choice. It has allowed me to make even finer, more precise cuts than with any chisel. The angle gives me more flexibility in corners, on awkward angles and inlets. So far, I've used this chisel as much as all my chisels combined.
So glad I bought this skew chisel.
