These .085 thick front sights worked so well in the two kibler kits I have built that I purchased 3 more for my other guns. They seem to work very well on longer barreled guns.
When I was sizing my original front sight it was too large for the dovetail. I lightly filed the rifle dovetail and got it close. Tried tapping in front sight with a wooden dowel rod and I broke the wing off of the sight. My fault. I put the file down and I ordered two new front sights in case I had another mishap. When I received my sights they both slide freely (loosely) in the barrel dovetail. Not sure if the brass sights vary in size or not? Looking for a solution. Otherwise the kit is great and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Once you polish it up, it is very easy to see.
The quality of the sight was excellent. However my old eyes can't see my sights and the target clearly. Though not traditional , I'm installing fiber optic sights to use during deer season. Hoping to get a tighter group.

Needed a taller front sight for my Colonial Longrifle that I bought from Kibler a few years ago. The new sight is very well made and fit perfectly. I really apricate the historical research and quality work that Kibler is doing.
Sights are fantastic, just what I needed.
The front sight on my colonial was lose. I tried peening it tight but it wouldn't stay. Ordered a new sight from Kibler, it went in perfect! Nice and snug.

No issues. Minor clean up needed, minor fitting.
Well thought out and designed. Too many front sights are made much too tall. This results in shooters having to file too much material off to get where they want to go. Kiblers sight is made lower so less filing is required - if any.
This is what you get when engineers think things thru.

I really needed the taller front sight. I purchased my Woodsrunner from Kibler in May of 2023. It was in .45 caliber. I've been shooting muzzleloaders for 60 years. I really like the Woodsrunner but I had to file down the front sight to a nub to get the elevation corrected with the original rear sight. Plus in order to set the windage i had to move the rear sight far to the right and the front sight over to the left. Looks like something Mr. Magoo would shoot. LOL. Well the elevation is corrected now that I have installed another front sight along with the taller rear sight. I'm still tinkering with loads, ball size, patch material etc. to try to correct the windage. Figuring out how to bend the barrel in a controlled manner will be my last resort.................Bob
The higher rear sight solved the problem of the Woodsrunner shooting about six inches low at 50 yards. An easy fix!

My rifle was shooting high for me. I filed down the front site to almost nothing the higher rear site allows me to only take a few swipes with a file off the front site hope they come out with a high rear site for the southern mountain rifle
Purchased for a woodsrunner to regain full front sight height after switching out rear sight;I had filed down original sight to get proper shot placement. As expected, the replacement front sight fit the barrel slots very well.

Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!
Order tracking
You will receive tracking information when your item ships. For kits, you will be contacted before shipment and after shipment so there is no need to worry about a kit box shipping when you are out of town. All other packages will ship when available and you will be emailed a tracking link.
