I can't say enough good things about all the folks at Kibler Longrifles. If a non-mechanical klutz like me can assemble a beautiful rifle from their kit, anyone can. Jim and company have really gone the distance with their videos and excellent service. I'd give them more than five stars, but that's all they offer!

Liquid Shipping

Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!

Order tracking

Woodrunner 45 cal carved ready to ship

I love that the gun was shipped in a wood crate. For fitting, i needed to remove a little of the barrel channel and a little wood from the lock area. Kibler has some great videos on YouTube to help with the finishing and filing. This was my first flintlock kit and it turned out beautiful. The lock has fired flawlessly so far and the gun is accurate.

Does your Brass need to be shiny?

Love this brass darkner. At first it looks like it's not working. Clean the brass with soapy hot water rinse and dry to remove oils and wax. Submerge the part in Jax let set until the desired antique finish is obtained then rub back with 0000 steel wool. Takes on a 18 century patina in just a short time. I usually wax over it when all finished but that's not really not necessary. Good product.

I actually was looking forward to doing a couple of the things that are done for the customer before shipping, but very happy. Lines are beautiful and going together nicely.

Range rod and SMR kit.

Both arrived in two weeks and in excellent condition. Kit. was better than I was expecting. I am pleased how the rifle turned out. It was my first kit that I have built. The range rod is a quality tool it works very well loading and cleaning the rifle. The muzzle protector that came with the rod works well at protecting the muzzle.
