About the Woodsrunner

The Woodsrunner is our most approachable longrifle, and the one we point first-time builders and gift-givers to. It is light, easy to carry, and a friendly first build. The stock is CNC machined to close tolerances, the holes are drilled, and the hard machining is done before it ships, so you can finish one with patience and a basic set of hand tools. The design is ours and the machining is ours. The hand work, and the satisfaction, are yours.

It is patterned after an original frontier rifle, often called the "Woodsrunner," believed to have been made in Virginia in the 1760s.
