.45 caliber, rifled, plain hard maple stock, righthand flintlock. Small chips in the ramrod groove. Discounted $50 from the plain hard maple price. Grease hole included. The lock is included.
About the Appalachian Barn Gun
The Appalachian Barn Gun is a plain working rifle, stripped down to the essentials: no buttplate, no nose cap, no entry pipe, no sideplate, and no patchbox. Jim drew this one directly from an original barn gun in a friend's collection. Fewer parts means simpler assembly.
The stock is CNC machined to close tolerances, every hole is drilled, and the parts need only minimal fitting. The design is ours and the machining is ours. The hand work, and the satisfaction, are yours.

- Pull approximately 13 3/8", drop at heel approximately 2 3/4"
- Iron hardware with Ian Pratt triggerguard pattern

- No buttplate, nose cap, entry pipe, sideplate, or patchbox, true to the original
- Right hand only

Liquid Shipping
Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!
Order tracking
You will receive tracking information when your item ships. For kits, you will be contacted before shipment and after shipment so there is no need to worry about a kit box shipping when you are out of town. All other packages will ship when available and you will be emailed a tracking link.
