5/16" Ramrod Tip with 8-32 thread

I bought the rod and tip for my Kibler SMR as a spare. Went together like a dream in one evening. I was able to drill and peen the finish nail no problem with minimal tools. Now putting a finish on it with a lighter color than the first rod so I can mix it up a bit. Perfect rod for any fitting rifle.

This ramrod is easy to install and the quality is to the standards that Kibler Longrifles is known for in today's market. Easy to install and now it gives me a spare ramrod.

Good tip however I Changed the threads on mine to 10-32 since most of my hardware is 10-32.

This is an excellent product. Threads a cut clean and true.

Liked it well enough to order a back up. Have a 2nd SMR ordered incl. a back up ramrod. Rods were pretty straight with excellent grain

Nice straight grained hickory. Used a scraper to taper until it fit pipes and recess .

Quality part, fit the rod well with slight fitting necessary. Just a nice part that fits the rifle well.

I broke my ramrod for my pedersoli .45 Pennsylvania percussion rifle, pedersoli does not sell replacements. Kibler had hickory rods and tips in stock. Thanks to Jim and his company my pedersoli is back to normal. Since then I have become the proud owner of a Kibler Southern Mountain Rifle in walnut and soon to be the owner of a .54 Woodsrunner in curly maple.

Putting one on is satisfying. Relatively easy to do it right. The nail seems to always be a bit oversized but with a little filing and adult language, it goes in.

The three hickory ramrods I ordered were for southern mountain rifle. All three looked as if I had hand picked them myself. Grain ran straight from end to end. No “s” curve or hard bends. One was straight enough and two barely bent as I would expect. Easily straightened by hand. They were already tapered to receive 8/32 threaded SMR ramrod tip. With a little sanding they fit great into stock. Just like every order I have received from Kibler, I am impressed by the quality.

I’ve used two and they both are great I’ve had to pull a few stuck balls and these didn’t fail the threads are strong . Will buy again if needed but honestly their durability will mean I’ll never need to .

Great ramrod tips, I bought several. Planning to make up a couple of spares for my SMR. Nothing wrong with the one that came with it, but if I make spares I probably will never break my original! As an old Boy Scout, our motto was always be prepared!

These are very strong tips. I use them on my hickory and delrin ramrods.

making a double tapered rod with an iron tip on both ends while one iron tip's full length is just beyond the muzzle, allows for easier handling but if one of the tips breaks off, the rod can still be fully utilized. Hope you come up with 3/8 rod size tips.
