Colonial Kit Brass Front Sight, Wax Cast

I received two items. A front sight, and a Colonial Rifle patch box cover. The front sight was very nice. The patch box cover was nice done, except… after fitting, carving and finishing was unfortunately a different maple color(species?) then my original stock.
Brown/gold(original), reddish brown(replacement). Couldn’t use it.

Kiblers is outstanding to work with. The sights are of quality material and work very well.

For older eyes

Received the kit 9-23. Within 4 hours after unpacking the parts I had the rifle ready to fire. Everything was assembled without having to remove wood. The patch box lid was a different story but only requiring minor fitting. The quality of the parts is exceptional, the quality and accuracy of the inletting was perfect. The lock is the best quality on the market and I have used most all of them. This is the perfect kit for me. At 74 my hands become painful following only a few hours of hand work.
I will do it again soon.

Too narrow and short. Couldn't use it. Bernard
