Southern Mountain Rifle quick ship

I am very please with SMR. It went together easily. Barrel tang fit was perfect in walnut stock. Though it had minor chip on the fore end. I put a brass nose cap on it. I really like it. Be patient in fitting butt This is a very fine smoke pole.

Improved Blood Pressure

Kibler Longrifles works hard to deliver a quality product at a reasonable price. Even for experienced gunsmiths Kibler gives minimum assembly time and there more time to devote to carving, inlays, wire work, and finishing. With a Kibler kit there is only minor fitting issues. A little chisel work, a few strokes of a file, and fixing a miniscule ding is all that is needed. Watch Jim's videos and you'll have no aggravation and no elevated blood pressure.

Exceptional material and build quality

This is my second kibler build after doing a Woods Runner previously. For this Southern Mountain build I was fortunate enough to obtain an above grade extra fancy maple stock and the curl is outstanding. As usual, the Kibler manufacturing of hardware is close to perfection, and the inletting required little if any fine tuning. I have purchased both of my rifles from the quick ship section of the website, and I will purchase my third using this method as well as I feel that I have some choice in the look of stock I want. The pictures provided in the quick ship section give a good indication of what you will be receiving. The operation of kibler rifles is excellent, and the time spent building, finishing and using a Kibler kit brings hours of enjoyment and the end product is something which I will be proud to pass on to my children and their children.

SMR in .36 cal

I bought this rifle in curly maple at a discount due to a curvature in the forearm area which was no problem at all in finishing the kit. The figure in the wood is just great, standard grade but wow, I've taken pictures to send along but am having trouble in getting them on the computer, I'll try to send them on the phone.
This is my 4th kit that I've bought from Kibler's and am always pleased, try building from another oufit!

Shipping

Liquid Shipping

Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!

Order tracking

You will receive tracking information when your item ships. For kits, you will be contacted before shipment and after shipment so there is no need to worry about a kit box shipping when you are out of town. All other packages will ship when available and you will be emailed a tracking link.
