3/4" by 7/8" Flint. French Amber. This is the preferred flint for our locks. Due to limited quantities that we are able to purchase, we must limit these to one flint per purchase. One flint is included and shipped with locks.

This works better than . . .

I tried the recommended 7/8 x 1 but it was too thick to fit in the cock jaws. There jaw screw is not long enough to allow the recommended size. So I went down a size to 3/4 x 7/8. Might be interesting to try a 3/4 x 1.
However, this flint did hold up well, so having a spare is good.

Have not had an opportunity to use it. But, it looks like it will be an excellent fit.

Nice thick and last

After searching the internet over kibler was almost the only place I could find French orders are limited to one flint which was kinda a bummer but these flints have lasted me 25-40 shots per side possibly longer if I knew proper flint napping. Thanks Kibler Longrifles

Liquids will not ship in the kit box. There are different regulations that apply to the chemicals that we sell and they will need to ship ground, when the kits will ship USPS Priority Mail. Plus, it would really stink if a liquid were to leak on your beautiful new kit!

32 SMR

My first gun build of this type ever. Took about 4 day’s working a couple of hours here and there. Very easy for a novice. Definitely want the tools laid out in the instructions that came with it. It truly is a work of art. Beautiful to look at and beautiful to shoot. First 3 shots at 30 yards placed into 3/4” group. Point of aim and point of impact were dead nuts on. Looking forward to some fun times in the squirrel and rabbit woods with it.

Woodrunner 45 cal carved ready to ship

I love that the gun was shipped in a wood crate. For fitting, i needed to remove a little of the barrel channel and a little wood from the lock area. Kibler has some great videos on YouTube to help with the finishing and filing. This was my first flintlock kit and it turned out beautiful. The lock has fired flawlessly so far and the gun is accurate.
